Hello homeowners,
It’s the last working day of February. For me it means that spring time is right around the corner. So, all you skiers, better hurry if you want to go down the hills.
The maple trees even started to give the precious water to do the maple syrup. It happens once every 20 years that it starts so early!!!
This is what happened this week:
10-11: first floor was poured dscn3130.JPG dscn3131.JPG.
12-14: basement floor was poured dscn3133.JPG dscn3134.JPG.
208: basement floor was poured and basement division were made dscn3135.JPG dscn3136.JPG dscn3137.JPG
209: basement floor was poured and all divisions were done dscn3139.JPG dscn3138.JPG dscn3140.JPG dscn3141.JPG dscn3142.JPG dscn3143.JPG
Next week, we start the mechanic part (plumbing, electricity, ventilation…), finish the divisions of 12-14 and start divisions of 10-11.
Warm regards
Christine

Hello homeowners,
February is the coldest month of the year… It has been between -30 to -20 every night this week. In the day, it can go up to -15 in the afternoon. The best thing this week was the sun. Sunny almost every day. Also, yesterday was the first day that it wasn’t completely dark when I got home!!!
This is what happened this week:
12-14: still working on the shingles. We are having problems with our equipment (nacelle), should be fixed beginning of next week. Also, was to cold to work outdoors on Tuesday. dscn3095.JPG dscn3096.JPG
208: nothing. These are pictures that I wanted to take last week. dscn3098.JPG dscn3099.JPG dscn3100.JPG dscn3101.JPG dscn3102.JPG dscn3103.JPG
209: trusses are up, will start with the shingles next week. dscn3097.JPG
Enjoy your week-end!

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh!
Horrible, horrible week…
First, it rained like crazy on Monday. Not just a sprinkle, the runs were closed at Mont-Tremblant because it was raining so hard.
Then on Tuesday, it snowed. We received a foot of snow. The workers did work outside on Tuesday but were not happy about it.
Wednesday, it snowed again. The workers didn’t want to work outside so went to cabin 208 to start the divisions.
Yesterday, we had a snow storm. Walls of snow were coming down. A lot of people were in the ditch. We couldn’t see two feet in front of us. To top it off, we lost power…
Today, frost bite alert. It’s -30 with the wind factor. Nobody is working outside.
I did try to take pictures. I was not happy about it but I did try.
Snow was covering the roofs of cabins 12-14, couldn’t show what they did but they did start the shingles.
Snow was covering the floors of cabin 209, so didn’t see the point.
I was sure I could take a picture of the divisions that were done in cabin 208 but when I got out of my car, there was snow up to my knees… I turned around got back in my car and went back to the office & I didn’t move for the rest of the day.
Hope it will go better next week.
Stay warm

Good day to all,
What a wonderful day today! It’s sunny and warm. The snow is melting. It feels like spring! The last two weeks of January are usually the coldest in the winter season. Monday, rain is on the menu! CRAZY!!!
We only worked on cabins 12 & 14 this week. The roof is done. dscn3090.JPG
We will start working on the floors of cabin 209 next week.
Have a great week-end!

Hello fellow homeowners!
Two months to go till spring!!! Can’t complain about winter this year. Two years ago, I had to shovel in the morning going to work and in the evening coming back from work. Last year we had to go through -40 degrees and rain… This year, it’s almost perfect! This week-end, it will be around -2 degrees. Anything above -10 degrees is good for me!
This is what happened this week:
10-11: The shingles are done. I am posting pictures of the inside of the cabins.dscn3082.JPG dscn3083.JPG dscn3084.JPG dscn3085.JPG
12-14: Floors are done, working on the second story walls. Next week will work on the trusses. dscn3086.JPG dscn3087.JPG
208: Nothing.
209: Logs are done. Once the workers are done with 12-14, will start on the floors. dscn3088.JPG dscn3089.JPG
Enjoy your week-end!
